Massage Warehouse Event Raises Money for the Massage Therapy Foundation

For the 5th year in a row, Massage Warehouse partnered with various corporate partners to present the Massage Warehouse Sanctuary, a philanthropic event to raise awareness and understanding for the need to support massage therapy research. Massage Warehouse, along with their corporate partners and volunteers, operate a working spa on trade show floors to provide ten-minute hand or foot massages for a minimal cost. All proceeds from the massages are donated to the Massage Therapy Foundation (MTF). The following corporate partners have helped raise $10,000 for the MTF Sanctuary events: Bon Vital, Core Products, CranioCradle, Custom Craftworks, Earthlite, EvZone Music, Massage Magazine, Massage Today, Massage Warehouse, Performance Health, TH.Stone in conjunction with Sa-Wan, Soothing Touch, and WR Medical / Therabath.  “Making the choice to support our industry in all the ways we can is our corporate responsibility,” says Angie Patrick of Massage Warehouse. “Our corporate partners feel the same, and share the love of massage. We bring Sanctuary to life in order to bring a community together and to educate them about the need for research.”

Signing Off: Taurus

Taureans are not only pragmatic but also the most sensually oriented sign of the zodiac. Therefore, a spa experience is ideal for them, as it provides them an opportunity to indulge their senses while relaxing and meeting their health needs. Lovers of all things natural, they have a fondness for treatments that incorporate the earth’s bounty, including healing foods, herbs, and flowers. Bulls may also look to a spa visit to help them with an area of life that it not readily their strong suit—that of changing. It’s not easy for Taureans to adopt new regimens, so a compassionate wellness coach can be of great service. They’ll appreciate getting constructive advice that allows them to incorporate new diet, exercise, and relaxation routines at an incremental pace to which they can realistically commit. It’s important to remember that overnight change is not for these clients.
