My idea of adventure during a vacation is the strenuous swim up to the pool bar. I’ll admit that a bit of pampering is always on the menu for me, as well. But for those spa-goers with adventure in their blood, Salish Lodge and Spa (Snoqualmie, WA) has partnered with DirtFish Rally School, a high performance racing school, to offer two exciting new packages. Designed for thrill seekers who still crave relaxing spa treatments, the package offers the best of both worlds. The I’ll Be at the Spa package offers one guest a luxurious 50-minute Tranquility Massage, while their partner experiences a heart-pumping two-hour DirtFish Rally class. The Let’s Ride package offers both guests a two-hour DirtFish Rally class. Both packages include two hours of racing instruction, an exhilarating ride and drive session along with an overnight stay in a fabulous room complete with a fireplace, a $25 dining credit at The Attic restaurant, and a Salish tote bag complete with water and trail mix.
The two packages are part of the Salish summer adventure series, which also offers excursions lead by expert guides, including mountain biking, fly-fishing, and hiking. “Being fortunate enough to enjoy this stunning location, we encourage our guests to explore the majestic mountains, hidden trails, and stunning rivers and lakes surrounding the lodge, before returning to be revitalized with our signature spa treatments and indigenous Northwest cuisine,” said John Murphy, general manager at Salish Lodge & Spa. “With the addition of the DirtFish Rally School getaways to our guided outdoor adventure packages, we can now offer something for the thrill seekers and bucket-listers as well!”
Rates for the DirtFish Rally School package range from $599 to $749 per night. For information please visit www.salishlodge.com.
