Four Seasons Celebrates 50 Years

I’m a big fan of celebrating milestones, which is why I’m thrilled to share the news of a big one for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts—50 years. The company is celebrating five decades with the launch of a special website to honor the values that have been the foundation of their success. Inspired by the company’s guiding principle, The Golden Rule, the new Living Values site showcases the company’s global CSR commitment in the areas of, Supporting Sustainability, Building Communities, and Advancing Cancer Research. Stories from more than 35,000 dedicated employees at more than 80 properties in 34 countries illustrate how the Golden Rule has inspired this global company to give back to their communities.

And speaking of milestones, American Spa is commemorating of our 15th year in print with a special anniversary section called “Celebrating 15 Years.” We kicked off this revisit of the magazine from its beginning in February with a look back at 1997 to 2000. In the April issue, we’re focusing on 2001 to 2002. In it, we highlight spa headlines, speak to industry leaders who have been with us since the beginning, and look at the featured years’ world news.
