Ceiba del Mar Offers Living Beyond Cancer Retreat

Anyone who has been touched by cancer knows the devastation it can bring to the patient and his or her loved ones. Ceiba del Mar Beach and Spa Resort is offering guests who have been diagnosed with or undergone cancer treatment a chance to rejuvenate mind, body, and spirit with the Living Beyond Cancer Wellness Retreat, which takes place April 18-22. During the retreat, guests will learn the importance of nutrition, a healthy lifestyle, and overall well-being from innovative wellness practitioners. The retreat will also offer healthy and delicious cuisine, spa and detox treatments, group sessions, and yoga and meditation. The goal is for guests to get back on the road to health and wellness with a positive outlook.

The all-inclusive retreat also includes three nights’ accommodations; all meals and drinks; unlimited use of land and water sports equipment, fitness center and its hydrotherapy circuit; a special gift upon arrival; airport transfers; and all taxes and gratuities. Rates for the Living Beyond Cancer program start at $2,729. Rates start at $1,305 for non-retreat participants who share a room with a living beyond cancer guest.

“This is the cure after the cure in a serenely beautiful, soul-nurturing setting,” says Brooke Cunningham, an organizer of the retreat and author of an upcoming book on detoxifying the body after rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. “Participants will learn how to eat better, restore the chemistry and balance within their bodies, live without the daily fear and rediscover pure relaxation.”
