Fairmont Introduces Spa Learning Vacations

I’ve always been a fan of learning vacations, which is why I was so excited to hear of the Fairmont’s new Apprentice-Trips program. Guests to any of the Fairmont properties can now take advantage of a number of enriching experiences. For those who love to spa, the Fairmont Pacific Rim (Vancouver) is offering the Learn How to Massage Package (starting at $615 per couple, per night), which includes nightly accommodation and 90-minutes in the Willow Stream spa couple’s room. Spa therapists provide hands-on tips on how to perform a therapeutic massage. The session concludes with side-by-side massages followed by time in the steam room, relaxation beds, and more. The Fairmont Turnberry Isle (Miami) has introduced the new Gal Pal (starting at $179) offering, which teaches women how to create their own BFF. (Backrubs, Facials, and Foot Scrubs) Spa Night with interactive demonstrations from Willow Stream Spa therapists. Guests also receive a take-home party pack that includes spa and smoothie recipes, a list of suggested BFF Spa Night Themes, and a box of angel cards. For spa enthusiasts, these lessons put the fun back in learning. Look for more on Fairmont’s Apprentice-Trips program in a future issue.
