“Sensitive Pisceans oftentimes like to escape from the harsh realities of the world. Going to a spa offers them a healthy refuge where they can find the peace, enchantment, and relaxation they seek. Because they usually put other people first, a visit to a spa can help them to balance their energies, accepting care and pampering from others. As they see union where others see separation, the Fish appreciate a holistic approach to healthcare and wellness. Therefore, it’s natural for them to honor the connection between mind, body, and spirit. The Fish swims toward treatments that feature water, whether it be baths, steam treatments, or thalassotherapy. Pisceans are very connected to their sensitive soles, given that their sign rules the feet. Therefore, pedicures also rank high on their spa to-do list.”—Stephanie Gailing

I have three older sisters, and when I was a little girl, naturally I wanted to be just like them. I remember sneaking into their rooms when they were out and trying on their clothes, wearing their shoes, and applying their makeup. When it came time to wash my face (before my sisters got home and caught me), I would use whatever soap I found in the bathroom. Looking back, I cringe thinking how drying that was for my sensitive skin, but at the time I didn’t know any better. To help young girls avoid a similar scenario, Good For You Girls has introduced the Complete Starter Kit, which contains all natural and organic products for girls between the ages of 9-14. The kit includes:
• Gel Cleanser, a soap-free face wash containing green tea, organic chamomile, and vitamin E to gently remove daily dirt and excess oil
• Purifying Toner, an alcohol-free toner containing witch hazel and organic aloe vera to balance the skin’s pH level
• Moisturizer, a gentle nourishing cream moisturizer that maintains healthy moisture balance without clogging pores
Simple and easy to use, these products are the perfect start to help young girls learn the importance of proper skincare–a valuable lesson best taught early.
As St. Patrick’s Day draws near, the folks at V Spa at the Hilton Anatole (Dallas) are helping spa-goers celebrate throughout the month of March with the Sham”rock” Massage ($85.50, 50 minutes; $126, 80 minutes), which combines a rhythmic Swedish technique with hot stones, and the Green Envy Express Mani and Pedi ($40, 50 minutes). Those who want to be sure they’re wearing green on St. Patrick’s Day can opt for SpaRitual’s Emerald Green or Optical Illusion green polish. It gives new meaning to the expression, “going green.”
