CND recently hosted its “Kicking It Up a Notch” 3rd Annual Learning Leadership Conference in Scottsdale, AZ. Held at the Scottsdale Marriott Suites Old Town, the goal of the conference was to provide a higher level of learning and facilitation to all conference participants, consisting of beauty school owners, managers, and instructors from across the country. CND constantly aims to elevate the quality of nail industry education, so that salon owners and educators can improve their businesses via exceptional services and standards. “Our aim was to encourage attendees to embrace the motto, ‘the minimum standard for the instructor becomes the maximum goal for the student,’ and raise the bar on education,” says Jan Zanettini, CND National School account manager and master of ceremonies for the conference.
The event also consisted of a fall 2010 trend class, led by Jan Arnold, CND co-founder and style director, in which each attendee received a DVD of Fall 2010 runway trends, complete with step-by-step instructions for achieving the beauty looks. In addition, attendees had the opportunity to attend classes on the best practices in Liquid & Powder and UV Gel techniques for long-lasting manicure services, and information on CND’s newest innovative product line that allows for long-lasting color, and non-damaging application and removal.
