We just wrapped up Halloween, and already I’m seeing signs of the holidays—the stores are already highlighting their Christmas decorations, and I swear I have already been serenaded to the tune of “Jingle Bells” in a department store. Thankfully, retreats like The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles, at The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles, are already providing services to help spa lovers relax during this busy holiday season. The spa’s new ‘Tis the Season seasonal spa menu has debuted and features classic holiday spices and ingredients, from pumpkin and oatmeal to mocha and mint, to celebrate the season. Among the offerings are the Holiday Spice Experience, a two-hour treatment that includes an exfoliating oatmeal and walnut body scrub followed by a pumpkin body mask and wrap and a full-body application of clove and nutmeg body butter, and the 65-minute Orange Bliss Body Massage, which is a revitalizing orange spice aromatherapy massage. Another effervescent option is the 50-minute Tinsel Toes Pedicure, which begins with a pumpkin or peppermint foot soak and is followed by an invigorating cranberry foot scrub before feet are massaged with a holiday spice butter and toes are polished to perfection. Available through Jan. 16, the ‘Tis the Season Spa Menu offers a collection of festive options to help spa-goers get into the spirit of the season.
