Guests Can Whet Their Appetites with the New Spa Tapas Menu at Sense, A Rosewood Spa at The Carlyle

Warning: If you ever go out to a restaurant with me, I am the most indecisive person when it comes to ordering. I think it is because a few items on the menu usually sound good to me, and I don’t want to commit to just one. The same is true when I visit a spa and am perusing the menu. And I must not be alone, because I have been seeing a new trend at many spas, where clients are offered a combination of several treatments of their choosing for shorter lengths of time. Jumping on the bandwagon is Sense, A Rosewood Spa at The Carlyle (New York City), which recently launched a Spa Tapas menu. For $180, guests can choose one 30-minute body treatment, one 20-minute massage, and one 20-minute skincare treatment. Options include:

Body Sense (30 minutes)
• Apaisant Exfoliation
• Hammam Clay Wrap
• SentoVital Flow Scrub
• Nature Optimal Boost Therapy

Massage Therapy (20 minutes)
• Aromatherapy Massage
• Swedish Massage
• Deep Tissue Massage
• Carlyle Signature Massage

Essential Skin Care (20 minutes)
• Hommage Gentleman’s Black Diamond Facial
• Sense Signature Facial
• Sisley Hydratation Intense
• Sisley Réparateur

With so many treatments to choose from, spa-goers will experience a customized taste of relaxation in The Big Apple.
