Earn Spa Credits at Teton Mountain Lodge
by Flying the Friendly Skies

It’s no secret that flying is stressful these days. That’s why I like to head straight from the tarmac to the treatment room. A new promotion from Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa is banking on the fact that others feel exactly the same. Beginning on June 9, guests at the lodge can begin their alpine weekend just two hours after take-off when they fly on UA flight #6294, the new United Airlines daily non-stop from Los Angeles to Jackson, WY. Passengers who book a summer stay (June 9 through August 23) at the lodge by April 31 will also receive an added incentive with a $62.94 spa credit at Solitude Spa. That’s a 50 percent savings, for example, on a 50-minute massage, which is regularly priced at $135. To take advantage of this special offer, call (800) 631-6271 and mention promo code 62.94 spa credit.

Happy Anniversary Ole Henriksen!

When I first started at American Spa, one of my first trips as editor-in-chief was to Los Angeles and to Ole Henriksen Face/Body. I knew it was a celebrity favorite—Renee Zellweger, Jessica Alba, and Charlize Theron are just a few Tinseltown beauties who count on the spa to keep their complexions glowing. So I was extremely excited to experience a facial there. I must say I was not disappointed, and I still consider it one of the best skincare services I’ve ever received. This month is my five-year anniversary as editor of American Spa, but that’s mere peanuts compared to Ole Henriksen’s amazing spa history—2010 marks his 35th year in the skincare business. He’s come a long way since his childhood in Denmark. Today, his hip Hollywood retreat is a mecca for celebrities and non-famous beauty seekers alike, and his skincare products can be found in some of the most prestigious spas and boutiques around the world. So I’d like to take a minute to express my congratulations to a man who says his “main skin care ambition is to ensure each and every client around the world is rewarded with the best skin possible.” Here’s to 35 more years of beauty!
