A few years ago, I visited Vancouver and was blown away. The eco-friendly city has it all—great food, amazing shopping, nice people, beautiful scenery, and a booming spa scene. At the end of 2008, preparations to host this year’s Winter Olympics (running February 12th through the 28th) were already well underway. Since I visited, new hotels have been introduced to the stunning skyline, such as the Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver, featuring the five-treatment-room CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La, and the Fairmont Pacific Rim, which will be launching the 11,000-square-foot Willow Stream Spa on February 1st.
Those with Olympic fever can also get a spa fix in nearby Whistler, which will be co-hosting the Games. This beautiful resort town offers a range of spa experiences and is sure to cater to any type of spa lover.
