Because it is never to soon to learn healthy hygiene habits, the American Academy of Dermatology recently launched www.kidsskinhealth.org. The website, which was created by dermatologists, teaches children ages 8 to 12 the importance of proper skincare while warning of the negative consequences that might occur, such as pimples, greasy hair, and sunburns, if they don’t follow a healthy regimen. The site also features “It’s a Skin Cell’s Life,” an interactive game starring Sammy the Skin Cell, that is both informative and fun.

I love the concept of teaching kids about the importance of maintaining healthy skin right before teenage years.
