Spa-Goers Enter a World of Relaxation
at the Golden Door Spa in Naples, FL

Although I visit my family in Miami often, I never really have the opportunity to travel anywhere else in Florida. This is why I was excited to check out the first East Coast outpost of the world-reknown Golden Door Spa located in the Naples Grande Beach Resort, a modern family-friendly property right on the Gulf Coast, only 2 ½ hours away from Miami.

Considering the size of the resort, which includes more than 400 guest rooms and suites, I was amazed at how quiet and peaceful the Golden Door Spa is. It’s possible to get lost in the soothing Zen-inspired ambience and forget about the bustling resort outside of the spa’s walls. At the heart of the spa village, which is made up of four buildings—including a reception area, couple’s villa, salon, and treatment area—is a lovely outdoor relaxation garden, complete with a whirlpool, reflection pool, platform beds, and cozy chaises. Despite scorching temperatures, this proved to be the perfect place to while the day away after my treatments.

In addition to a pampering four-handed Discreet Indulgence Massage, I experienced a Pure and Powerful Facial, a treatment that will appear on the spa’s new menu, which will be revealed next week. Featuring Skin Authority products, this relaxing 80-minute facial was just the refreshing vitamin-C boost my summer-sapped skin needed.
